FULL NAME: Fernando Alonso Díaz.

DATE OF BIRTH: 29th July, 1981.

PLACE OF BIRTH: Oviedo, Spain.

CHILDHOOD: With only three years old, he drives his first Kart, built by his father, and wins his first race.

SUCCESS:

In 1995, he climbed to the podium (in 3^rd place) in its first participation in the World Karting Championship.

In 1996, he won the World Karting Championship.

In 2001, he started in the F1 in Minardi group.

In 2005, he became World Champion in F1 with Renault.

NOW: He is now back with Renault after being in McLaren and hopes to start racing again.
